How do I register for my free first class (or other discounts)?
To receive your free taster session (one per student), please see the following step-by-step guide:
Select the class you wish to join and hit the "Register" button.
Select a pricing tier, then click on "Use Discount Codes & Gift Cards"
In the drop-down menu, enter the code FREECLASS (or other code if you have one) and click "Apply" - this will give a 100% discount. Then hit "Next".
You are now registered for the class!
You will receive a confirmation email. Should you need to cancel your registration, this can be done up to 1 hour before the session begins. You will be able to use the FREECLASS code again.
What is tiered pricing?
As an accessible yoga ambassador, Johnny is committed to making yoga more affordable for all. As such, tiered pricing is offered based on income; we respect the honour system, please pay what you can. We also understand that finances change, so if you need to pay a lower rate at times, that is perfectly acceptable.
*Community Rate (a lower rate, supported by your peers)
*Sustainer Rate (standard rate, covers your enrolment)
*Supporter Rate (covers your enrolment + supports your peers)
These rates are available for all our packages and memberships: Drop-in sessions, 5- and 10-class passes, monthly unlimited and annual unlimited.
If you are able to enrol at the Supporter or Sustainer Rate, your contributions support the ability to offer a lower rate to community members experiencing financial difficulties.
This graphic by Alexis J Cunningfolk can help you decide which tier is right for you:

Do I need to bring my own mat?
You may bring a mat if you wish, but mats and all props (bricks, blocks, bolsters, blankets) will be available.
When should I arrive?
Please arrive at least 5-10 minutes prior to the start of the class to allow yourself time to wonder down the garden and get settled onto your mat before class begins.
How to I get to Yoga Yurtopia?
Yoga Yurtopia is located at 56 Park Road, New Barnet, EN4 9QF - the house with the yellow door. We are a 15-20 minute walk from both New Barnet train station and Cockfosters tube station.
From either station, you can also take the 384 bus to our location. It is a Hail & Ride bus, with no 'dedicated' stop; push the button when you are near and the bus will stop.
Note, however, that the bus from New Barnet station takes a loop around the neighbourhood, so could take up to 20 minutes.
How do I get to the yurt?
When you arrive at the location (56 Park Road, New Barnet, EN4 9QF - the house with the yellow door), enter through the wooden gate, pass through the (unfinished) extension and follow the wood-chipped pathway. The yurt is at the bottom of a 65-meter-long tropical-style garden.
Are there changing rooms/toilet?
There is a camping toilet in a shed in the garden, with a slightly wobbly brick floor. While you are welcome to use the facilities (we do understand when nature calls!), if you could come prepared to practice that would be great.
Will classes take place year round?
Yes, the yurt will be open and classes conducted come rain or shine, or whatever mother nature throws our way! There is a log burner for extra warmth during the colder months, and an outdoor space to practice in the warmer months (bug spray and sun screen will be available).
What is the cancellation policy?
We understand that life happens! Therefore, you can cancel your registration up to 1 hour prior to the start of the class for a full refund.
Can I pay at the studio?
Unfortunately, I am not equipped to take payment at the studio. Please book online; this also helps with the roster, as space is limited to 6 students.
